Additional tests placed on the light table for vision testing

In addition to the standard Syvtsev table and Landolt C rings, this table contains additional tests that help ophthalmologists more accurately assess various aspects of the patient's visual perception.

1. Golovin-Landolt test (Landolt C rings)
🔹 This test is used to determine visual acuity, especially in cases where the patient does not know letters or numbers (for example, young children or people with language barriers).
🔹 The patient is asked to determine in which direction the ring ("C") is torn. The smaller the rings a person can correctly recognize, the higher their visual acuity.

2. Astigmatism test (Stripes diverging in different directions)
🔹 Helps detect astigmatism - a violation of the shape of the cornea or lens, which causes distorted vision.
🔹 The patient is asked to look at radial lines (stars, stripes). If some of them seem clearer or darker than others, this may indicate astigmatism.

3. Amsler grid (Square with a dot in the center)
🔹 Used for early diagnosis of macular degeneration - a retinal disease that can cause loss of central vision.
🔹 The patient is asked to focus on the central point of the grid. If the lines seem wavy, blurred or distorted, this is a signal for a more detailed examination.

4. Color test (red-green field)

🔹 The patient is asked which background (red or green) the symbols appear sharper on. This helps the doctor determine whether correction with lenses (- or +) is needed.
