DEMENTIA FRIENDLY CARE HOME WAYFINDING SIGNAGE
VASHIMAGE GROUP recently introduced a line of signs and signs for specialized dementia care facilities (for people with dementia).
Designers have carried out extensive research into signage suitable for people with dementia and have developed a range of signs that can be clearly visible and understandable to people with dementia and other cognitive impairments, as well as complement the interior of your home or specialist premises.
Two-color, high-contrast design (black and white) allows you to clearly see and understand text and images. The color ranges have been chosen to create signs with a high LRV (light reflectance ratio), which means that the background of the sign has a high contrast with the images and text, which is especially important for those with dementia and vision impairment.
The sign is made of aluminum composite with a multi-layer effect: the upper inscription is made of 3mm acrylic, which creates a stunning modern three-dimensional look.
